The congregation at our Sunday morning service are from a variety of cultures and ages – babies and pre-school children are welcome in the Service, and we particularly value our older children and young people.

We use a mix of traditional and new music, and take great delight in our musicians, who enhance our worship. We take pleasure in being a friendly and welcoming church,

and would love to meet you, so we invite you to come along.

Mission

As part of the world-wide Church, we, the people of All Saints Gravelly Hill, are a community drawn together by God’s unconditional love for us.

It is in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ that we experience this love and discover the value and potential of every human being.

We are sustained by God’s presence with us and we desire to respond to the love and mercy of God:

  • Through our worship and prayer
  • Through deepening our faith and understanding
  • Through serving all people by communicating God’s love, especially in this community where we have been set, by:
    • Proclaiming the Good News,
    • Practical caring,
    • Campaigning for the justice of God’s Kingdom,
and working in partnership with others in this work.

History

All Saints Church was built in 1901 from designs by V.S. Peel, as a “chapel of ease” (A Mini second church) for St. Barnabas Church, Erdington. It was then enlarged in 1918 by a famous Arts & Crafts architect called William Bidlake. It became a full parish church in 1929.
